Job summary

Regency Lagoon Resort in Rajkot, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to lead our banquet operations for weddings, corporate conferences, MICE events, and grand social celebrations. You will oversee end-to-end events, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure flawless delivery with 5-star standards.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in luxury banquet operations, strong leadership, and a focus on guest satisfaction and cost control.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Hotel Management or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in banquet operations, preferably in a luxury resort, or high-volume premium catering company.
• Strong experience in managing large-scale weddings, corporate conferences, and premium social events.
• Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of banquet service standards, event coordination, and cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of weddings, corporate events, conferences, and social functions.
• Coordinate with the Sales, F&B, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure flawless event delivery.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and ensure all event requirements, layouts, menus, décor, and guest commitments are executed as per the agreed specifications.
• Maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in line with 5-star hospitality standards.
• Lead, train, motivate, and manage the banquet team to deliver outstanding service.
• Monitor banquet revenue, operational costs, manpower productivity, and resource utilization.
• Ensure proper communication of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), function sheets, and special guest requirements to all concerned departments.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Monitor banquet inventory, equipment, tableware, linen, and other operational resources.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, food safety standards, fire safety regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.
