Job summary

eShipz is seeking a proactive Backend Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience to design, build, and scale backend services. You will collaborate across Product, Frontend, QA and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced logistics SaaS environment.

Ideal candidates have strong Python skills, experience with SaaS platforms, and the ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining high-quality code and testing practices.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-centric Backend Engineerwith a minimum of 3-5 Years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Strong programming experience in Python and backend development frameworks.
• Work with databases, APIs, third-party integrations and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, secure and maintainable code with appropriate testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA and DevOps teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Backend Engineer
• Proven experience in handling B2B customers is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
• Good understanding of SaaS platforms, e-commerce, or logistics (preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
