Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer (Azure Data Platform) with 5+ years of enterprise data architecture and cloud data warehousing to join our Noida/Lucknow team. As a Data Platform Engineer (Azure Data Platform) supporting HCLTech across Noida and Lucknow, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of cloud data warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT pipeline development, data governance, and performance optimization. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, processing large-scale datasets with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark, managing cloud data stores (Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Snowflake), writing optimized SQL queries, monitoring data pipeline telemetry, and collaborating closely with data scientists, BI analysts, and software development squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex data pipeline bottlenecks under strict enterprise service level agreements.
