HCLTech is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer (Azure AI Platform) to design, build, deploy, and scale production-grade AI models and workflows across Noida and Lucknow. You will own end-to-end AI infrastructure, including OpenAI services, ML workspaces, and MLOps automation.

You will fine-tune LLMs, implement RAG pipelines, manage vector stores, and optimize inference latency while collaborating with data scientists and engineers to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.

Qualificações

Minimum 5+ years of experience in software/MLOps/AI platform roles.
Hands-on with Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and cloud AI services.
Proven ability to deploy, scale, and govern AI pipelines in enterprise settings.
Strong Python, ML frameworks, and containerization expertise.
Experience with vector databases and LLM orchestration tools.

Responsabilidades

Detailed Job Description:

As an AI Platform Engineer (Azure AI Platform) supporting HCLTech across Noida and Lucknow, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of artificial intelligence infrastructure, model deployment pipelines, MLOps automation, and cloud AI governance. Your day-to-day responsibilities include provisioning and managing Azure OpenAI and Azure Machine Learning workspaces, fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, operationalizing MLOps CI/CD pipelines, optimizing inference latency, and collaborating closely with data scientists, AI researchers, and software development squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex artificial intelligence platform bottlenecks under strict enterprise service level agreements.
Design, build, operationalize, and scale enterprise-grade artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms on Azure.
Deploy, configure, and manage Azure OpenAI services, Azure Machine Learning workspaces, and Cognitive Services.
Build and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG pipelines, and generative AI application workflows.
Implement robust MLOps CI/CD pipelines for automated model training, evaluation, packaging, and production deployment.
Integrate and manage vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, Azure AI Search) for semantic search and AI context retrieval.
Monitor model inference performance, drift detection, API latency, and resource utilization across AI clusters.
Collaborate seamlessly with data scientists, software engineers, and security squads to ensure secure and ethical AI deployment.
Author meticulous AI platform runbooks, model deployment guides, and MLOps architecture specifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, and AI platform administration.
Strong, demonstrable hands‑on operational experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, and cloud AI services.
Deep practical proficiency in MLOps frameworks, model deployment pipelines, and inference optimization.
Proven operational experience working with vector databases and Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
Solid practical programming proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under active enterprise AI environments.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
Mandatory immediate availability and legal work eligibility for full-time operations in Noida or Lucknow.
Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) or Azure Data Scientist Associate.
Hands‑on familiarity with Hugging Face transformers, fine‑tuning techniques (LoRA/QLoRA), and prompt engineering frameworks.
Prior professional working experience in top‑tier technology consulting firms or enterprise AI product companies.
Advanced knowledge of AI safety, guardrails, data privacy, and responsible AI governance frameworks.
