Job summary

Coforge is seeking an Azure Cloud Support Engineer - L2 with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure, networking, monitoring, and ITIL v4. The role provides L2 operational support and aims to ensure high availability of cloud services.

The position is hybrid and based in Bangalore/Coimbatore as a full-time role with immediate joiner requirements. You will handle incidents, perform RCA, and support cloud environments according to ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure Services, Azure Networking, Cloud Monitoring, and ITIL V4.
• Hands-on experience with Azure VMs, VMSS, Availability Sets, Disk and Backup.
• Knowledge of RBAC, Managed Identity, Conditional Access, and PIM.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes: Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support for Azure Cloud Infrastructure and related services.
• Monitor and manage Azure infrastructure, identify incidents, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Troubleshoot Azure VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Backup, and Monitor.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure networking: VNet, subnets, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, routing, connectivity.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and problems per ITIL V4 processes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Support Engineer L2 with 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure Services, Azure Networking, Cloud Monitoring, and ITIL V4. The candidate will be responsible for providing L2 operational support, troubleshooting Azure infrastructure issues, monitoring cloud environments, and ensuring high availability and performance of cloud services..

Mandatory / Preferred Skills:

Azure Cloud Infra Services:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS) services
• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Availability Sets, Availability Zones, Virtual Machine Scale Sets, Availability Sets, Availability Zones, Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS), Managed Disks, and Azure Backup.

Azure Networking:

• Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSG), Route Tables (UDR), VPN Gateway, VNet Peering, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints.

Azure Active Directory:

• Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), RBAC, Managed Identity, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

ITIL V4:

• Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request management

Cloud Monitoring:

• Experience in infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 technical support for Azure Cloud Infrastructure and related services.
• Monitor and manage Azure infrastructure, identify incidents, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Troubleshoot Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure networking issues including VNet, subnet, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, routing, and connectivity.

• Analyze alerts, logs, metrics, and performance data to identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and problems in accordance with ITIL V4 processes.
