Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking an MFT - Secure Transport specialist with 4–6 years of experience. The role focuses on middleware, secure data exchange, and gateway tooling. You will work in a fast-paced setting, handling customer interactions and supporting deployment pipelines.

The candidate should understand AS2/SFTP/FTP protocols, SSL and encryption, and SQL databases. Shifts may include UK/US/APAC hours.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience with middleware like Gateway/ST.
• Knowledge of SSL, encryption, keys and certificates.
• Proficient with AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP/S via gateway tools.
• Strong CI/CD and deployment automation (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven/Gradle).
• Experience with Trading Partner Profile management and configurations.
• Understanding of databases and SQL, and Unix/shell scripting.

Job Description – MFT - Secure Transport

• 3-5 years of work Experience on different middleware like Gateway/ST.
• Knowledge of SSL/encryption/Keys/certificates.
• Strong knowledge of AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP/S data communication protocols with expertise using any gateway tool.
• Good hold in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven/Gradle)
• Experience working with Trading Partner Profile Management and configurations
• Understanding of databases and experience with SQL
• Strong experience in Unix/commands/shell scripting

Advantage if

• Programming skills in Java preferred
• Programming skills in any language (Cobol, Java, Python, C, C++)
• Lead role experience

Candidate Should

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be ready to work in fast paced and Dynamic environment
• Have customer handling experience
• Be part of team or work as individual consultant
• Ready to work in U.K / U.S / APAC shifts

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
