Job summary

Sopra Steria in Chennai, India is seeking an MFT - Secure Transport specialist to manage middleware and secure data exchanges. You will work with gateways/tools, AS2/SFTP/FTP protocols, and encryption to ensure reliable partner integrations.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of total experience, strong Unix shell skills, and hands-on CI/CD/automation experience with Jenkins or GitLab. Java and other languages are a plus; UK/US/APAC shifts may be required.

Job description - MFT - Secure Transport

1. 3-5 years of work Experience on different middleware like Gateway/ST.
2. Knowledge of SSL/encryption/Keys/certificates.
3. Strong knowledge of AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP/S data communication protocols with expertise using any gateway tool.
4. Good hold in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven/Gradle).
5. Experience working with Trading Partner Profile Management and configurations
6. Understanding of databases and experience with SQL
7. Strong experience in Unix/commands/shell scripting

1. Programming skills in Java preferred
2. Programming skills in any language (Cobol, Java, Python, C, C++)
3. Lead role experience
