Job summary

Iris Software is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to drive enterprise CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platform delivery in a dynamic IT services environment.

You will design, implement, and optimize Azure-based pipelines, containers, and monitoring, while mentoring teams on automation, governance, and cloud engineering standards. Strong collaboration across architects, developers, QA, and security is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tooling in Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Hands-on with AKS and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Proficient in monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Familiar with ARM Templates, Azure Bicep and PowerShell.
• IaC and automated cloud provisioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise CI/CD solutions on Azure.
• Define IaC standards using ARM, Azure Bicep, PowerShell.
• Deploy AKS and ACR platforms for container workloads.
• Design deployment strategies for App Services and Functions.
• Improve delivery quality through governance and best practices.
• Develop monitoring and observability dashboards with Azure Monitor.
• Lead troubleshooting of deployment, infra, app, and cloud issues.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and security teams.
• Mentor engineers on DevOps, IaC, and cloud standards.
• Drive automation and platform optimization.
• Ensure DevOps implementations meet governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise CI/CD solutions using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and YAML-based deployment frameworks.
• Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards leveraging ARM Templates, Azure Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to enable consistent and automated cloud provisioning.
• Design, deploy, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR) platforms supporting enterprise containerized workloads.
• Design deployment strategies for Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and WebJobs to support scalable cloud-native applications.
• Define deployment automation, release governance, CI/CD standards, and engineering best practices to improve delivery quality and operational efficiency.
• Design and optimize monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for deployment, infrastructure, application, and cloud platform issues.
• Review infrastructure configurations, deployment pipelines, automation scripts, and operational processes to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Project teams to support enterprise release management and cloud platform delivery.
• Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, release planning, technical reviews, demonstrations, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor engineers on Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, AKS, automation, CI/CD practices, and cloud engineering standards.
• Drive automation, platform optimization, deployment reliability, operational excellence, and engineering maturity initiatives.
• Ensure Azure DevOps implementations align with governance standards, operational objectives, service reliability targets, and organizational compliance requirements.
