Job summary

Net Connect is seeking an AWS DevOps / Platform Engineer in Bangalore to build, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure for an enterprise AI application in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

You will provision infrastructure with Terraform, establish secure CI/CD pipelines, and run containerised workloads on AWS using ECS/Fargate and Docker, while collaborating with Cloud, Security, and Architecture teams.

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands‑on AWS DevOps / Platform Engineer to build, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure for an enterprise AI application within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The engineer will work closely with client Cloud, Security, and Architecture teams to provision infrastructure using Terraform/IaC, establish secure and production‑ready CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliable deployment and operation of containerised applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC).


• Configure and deploy AWS services including ECS/Fargate, ECR, SQS, S3, IAM, VPC, ALB, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and KMS.


• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.


• Deploy and manage Docker/containerised applications on AWS.


• Configure AWS networking, IAM policies, security groups, secrets management, encryption, and environment‑specific configurations.


• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, autoscaling, and operational controls.


• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, connectivity, and access‑related issues.


• Ensure infrastructure and deployment practices meet enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements.


• Collaborate with client Cloud, Security, Architecture, and application teams to deliver secure and production‑ready solutions.


• Support enterprise production deployments and contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps and platform engineering practices.

Must‑Have Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS.


• Strong expertise in Terraform / Infrastructure‑as‑Code.


• Experience with ECS/Fargate and Docker.


• Hands‑on experience with ECR, SQS, S3, IAM, VPC, ALB, and CloudWatch.


• Experience with AWS Secrets Manager and KMS.


• Strong understanding of AWS networking and security.


• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.


• Good knowledge of Git and version‑control practices.


• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.


• Proven experience with enterprise‑grade production deployments and DevOps practices.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.


• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in GxP or other regulated environments, particularly pharmaceutical/life sciences.


• AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps certification.


• Experience deploying and operating AI/ML or Generative AI applications on AWS.


• Experience working with enterprise Cloud, Security, Architecture, and Compliance teams.
