Job Description - DevOps Engineer

Location - Bangalore

Experience - 5-8 Years

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform and be comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Role & responsibilities

• 5+ years of relevant DevOps / Cloud experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s)
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins / CI-CD
• Strong experience with Terraform
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Experience with containerization, preferably Docker
• Good understanding of networking, cloud security, and infrastructure concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred candidate profile

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Manage and administer Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized applications.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform (IaC).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure/application issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Implement DevOps best practices around automation, deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Support production deployments and participate in incident troubleshooting and resolution.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure and deployment processes follow security and compliance best practices.
• Experienced in security best practices, Monitoring tools and concepts.
• Experienced in building node js and python application images.

Good To Have Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Scripting experience with Shell/Python
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices
