Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure. You will drive IaC with Terraform, deploy containers with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), and implement robust CI/CD pipelines across engineering teams.

You will mentor engineers, promote GitOps practices, and continuously improve deployment automation and system reliability in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS DevOps experience.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong IaC using Terraform.
• Experience with EKS, EC2, RDS and EFS.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and GitOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and driving DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, EFS, and related platform components.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated application delivery.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).
• Implement GitOps methodologies and version-controlled infrastructure practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes.
• Maintain source code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and platform-related issues.
• Drive automation initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement programs.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor engineering teams on DevOps practices.

• Strong experience in AWS DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including:

• Strong experience with Docker containerization.
• Hands‑on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience integrating pipelines with Docker, CLI tools, and cloud environments.
