Job summary

Cloud Angles Digital Transformation is seeking a FinOps Analyst / Engineer to manage cloud costs, governance and transparency across the organization’s cloud environment. You will work with technology, finance and business stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities include tracking spending, forecasting, budgeting, and building dashboards to provide visibility into cloud costs and savings initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, Cloud Financial Management, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cost Explorer.
• Good understanding of AWS cloud services and their cost structures.
• Understanding of FinOps principles and practices.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance.
• Strong skills in reporting, data analysis, and financial analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Assist with budgeting, cost allocation, and chargeback/showback processes.
• Prepare and maintain FinOps reports and KPIs.
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide cloud cost visibility.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and business teams on cloud cost management.
• Support the implementation of cloud financial governance processes.
• Track savings initiatives and measure the impact of optimization activities.
