Job summary

Alp Talent Solutions Delhi seeks an AVP Talent Acquisition (Infrastructure Consulting) to lead recruitment for infrastructure and engineering businesses. Qualifications

Role Overview

AVP Talent Acquisition (Infrastructure Consulting) will lead the recruitment function for infrastructure and engineering businesses, driving talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess and on‑board high-quality technical professionals across sectors such as Water, Urban Infrastructure, Transport, Renewable Energy, Buildings, Environment and Project Management. The role requires an experienced recruitment leader with a strong understanding of the infrastructure consulting industry and the ability to build a robust pipeline of engineering and project management talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for infrastructure and engineering positions across multiple sectors and experience levels.
• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization’s business expansion plans.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of engineering, technical and project management professionals through executive search firms, professional networks and direct sourcing.
• Partner closely with business leaders and Sector Heads to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely hiring of quality talent.
• Drive recruitment for niche technical specialists, project managers, domain experts and senior leadership positions.
• Develop and manage relationships with recruitment agencies, technical institutes, industry professionals and other talent sources.
• Enhance employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice within the infrastructure consulting industry.
• Monitor recruitment metrics, optimize hiring processes and ensure an excellent candidate experience.
• Stay updated on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks and hiring practices within the infrastructure and engineering sectors.
• Shall be active on social media platforms like LinkedIn.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with significant experience recruiting for infrastructure, engineering organizations.
• Proven experience in hiring engineers, planners, architects, project management professionals and senior technical leadership across infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure consulting, engineering skillsets and technical hiring practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong professional network within the infrastructure and engineering ecosystem.
• Dynamic, proactive and result‑oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple critical hiring mandates.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in talent acquisition for leading infrastructure consulting firms, engineering consulting organizations such as Egis, AECOM, Aarvee, Tata Consulting Engineers, SMEC, Stantec, RITES, SYSTRA or executive search firms specializing in infrastructure and engineering recruitment will be preferred.
