Job summary

The House of Abhinandan Lodha in Mumbai seeks a senior operations leader to own the portfolio strategy for complex real estate programs. You will provide governance, dashboards, and escalation support to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, leading cross-functional teams and advising senior stakeholders, including CXOs, on risk, value engineering, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio-wide project actualisation, pre-construction coordination and closures, project planning, governance, and cross-functional milestone tracking; identify probable delays and drive recovery actions.
• Own executive project dashboards and support board-level reporting.
• Drive project delivery and governance through timely issue resolution.
• Manage the escalation framework and resolve critical project delays through senior stakeholder management.
• Partner with BD, Design, Liaison, EPC, FHM, and CRM leadership to drive delivery outcomes.
• Lead strategic process improvement, SOP standardisation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Drive innovation, value engineering, and cost-reduction initiatives and outcomes.
• Govern project performance, budgets, risk, and cost-to-complete reviews; provide recommendations to leadership.
• Conduct detailed project reviews to give management complete visibility of project status, ensuring cost and time overruns are arrested.
• Manage portfolio-level resource planning, risk management, and project strategy.
• Influence and collaborate with senior leaders across Business Development, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Architecture, Marketing, Planning, Budgeting, Execution, and Hospitality.

About the Role

The incumbent will own the operations strategy charter for a portfolio of projects, giving senior leadership the visibility, governance, and decision support needed to deliver on time and within budget. This is a leadership role that blends strategic oversight with hands‑on execution rigor: setting the operating cadence for cross-functional delivery and acting as the primary point of escalation and decision‑support for project‑level issues before they reach the CXO / leadership table.

The ideal candidate has led project or program management functions within real estate, infrastructure, or an equally complex, stakeholder-heavy environment, and is as comfortable building process as they are managing senior stakeholders. Candidates from institutional real estate platforms, asset managers, or financial institutions with real estate asset exposure (e.g., Brookfield-type organisations) are strongly encouraged to apply.

What We Are Looking For

• B.Tech / B.E. / B.Arch with an MBA from a premier institute
• 812 years of experience, including a demonstrated track record of leading teams and functions, with strong leader-like maturity and intellect
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and build consensus with stakeholders at all levels, including CXOs
• Experience navigating technical and project management teams
• Strong techno-commercial credentials, with the ability to operate as a strategic advisor to leadership
• Strong P&L ownership and commercial sense in the context of development management
• Established leadership credentials from a quality real estate development organisation, an institutional investment / asset management platform, or a financial institution with real estate asset exposure
