Qualifications

• 4+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and support AVD and Windows 365 environments on Azure.
• Architect scalable, secure, high-performing VDI for enterprise customers.
• Configure Host Pools, Session Hosts, and Scaling Plans.
• Implement FSLogix profile management and Azure Files integration.
• Create golden images with Azure Image Gallery.
• Plan BCP/DR for AVD environments.
• Configure Azure networking, security, monitoring, and governance.
• Deploy MSIX App Attach for app delivery.
• Monitor/troubleshoot AVD with Azure tools.
• Provide architecture guidance and automation using IaC/DevOps.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Architect to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale virtual desktop solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Azure infrastructure services, automation, end-user computing, and virtual desktop technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 environments.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing virtual desktop solutions for enterprise customers.
• Configure, manage, and optimize Host Pools, Session Hosts, Scaling Plans, and user profiles.
• Implement and support FSLogix profile management and Azure Files integration.
• Create, customize, and maintain golden images using Azure Image Gallery.
• Design and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) solutions for AVD environments.
• Configure and manage Azure networking, security, monitoring, and governance controls.
• Deploy and optimize application delivery solutions, including MSIX App Attach.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AVD environments using Azure native monitoring and reporting tools.
• Manage printing services and peripheral integrations within virtual desktop environments.
• Collaborate with Microsoft support and cross-functional teams to resolve critical technical issues.
• Develop automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
• Provide technical leadership, best practices, and architectural guidance for virtual desktop modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.

• Strong experience in Windows 365 deployment and administration.
• Deep understanding of AVD architecture, deployment models, and operational management.
