Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd (LTI) seeks an Associate Principal - Architecture to lead VDI architecture, design, and implementation for large deals. The role requires expert Citrix, VMware, and Azure know-how, with experience migrating virtual desktops to cloud and delivering end-to-end solutions.

The candidate will guide technical direction, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure architecture alignment across business domains while working in a matrix IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading Virtual Desktop design and implementation on complex projects.
• Experience migrating virtual desktops from onprem to cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of CITRIX, VMware, and Azure cloud services.

Associate Principal - Architecture Job Title- DWP VDI Architect LocationIndia Any LTIM office preferably in Bangalore

Key areas of responsibility

Lead technical design technical direction and solution

Architectlevel CITRIX VMWare MS AVD Virtualization skills and experience designing installing configuring managing and troubleshooting complex and large deals

Architectlevel skills optimizing performance scalability security highavailability monitoring printing connectivity group policy

Administratorlevel skills operating Intune Mobility and Virtualization CITRIX VMware

Provide a comprehensive endtoend architecture for the stakeholders business and technical requirements

Ensuring the solution aligns across the business for people process and systems domains

Gather business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders to produce a requirements specification document

Analyze and investigate possible solutions to meet the customers business and technical requirements

Produce professional highlevel solution descriptions and obtain customer acceptance of these solutions

Be responsible for the technical solution through all phases of the project support the project managers and work within a defined change management process

Experience migrating virtual desktops from onprem to cloud Tenant to Tenant

Experience using FSlogix technologies for user and office 365 profiling requirement

Implement Azure site recovery for workload replication for BCDR requirements

Take accountability for applying implementing maintaining and examining the documentation of the AVD Requirements

Proven experience of leading Virtual Desktop design and implementation effort on complex projects including the planning tracking and controlling of infrastructure project activities

Strong experience of technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle

Analysis Architecture Design Build Test Production Experience of working in a matrix organization

Experience of technically leading projects throughout the complete IT Development Lifecycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer

The candidate will have the capability to organize and run requirement capture workshops as well as proactively listening to user needs

The candidate should be able to lead the customer relationship

Disciplined and rigorous approach to network and infrastructure design and ability to ask challenging questions about the requirements and architecture of the infrastructure at each level of the hierarchy

Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and concepts supporting IaaS PaaS and SaaS including networking compute storage subscriptions and security

Experience with IP Networking VNet peering Azure Firewall and Azure Active Directory

Education Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience
