Job summary

ALTEN India is seeking an Embedded Ethernet engineer to develop and debug Ethernet stacks for Classic AutoSAR, Embedded Linux or RTOS platforms in an automotive context. You will analyze network traffic with tools like Wireshark and CANoe/CANalyzer and validate AVB/TSN features across ECUs, gateways, switches, and end nodes.

You will collaborate with hardware, system and application teams to ensure deterministic communication performance, conduct latency and synchronization measurements,

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug Ethernet communication stacks on Classic AutoSAR / Embedded Linux or RTOS platforms.
• Analyze network traffic using tools such as Wireshark, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, or other protocol analyzers.
• Perform integration and validation of AVB/TSN features in automotive ECUs, gateways, switches, and end nodes.
• Work closely with hardware, system, and application teams to ensure deterministic communication performance.
• Conduct performance analysis, latency measurements, synchronization validation, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and customer interactions.
