Job summary

Kinly is seeking an AV Project Manager to work on-site in Pune, India, overseeing AV integration projects for a financial services client. You will manage budgets, schedules, and external collaborations with clients and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Key requirements include proven AV project management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. A Prince2/PMP qualification is desirable.

• Prince2/PMP qualification or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on time, to client satisfaction, and compliant with contract requirements.
• Take full responsibility for commercial and contractual obligations of multiple projects.
• Prepare and manage schedules and budgets; provide updates on financial performance.
• Communicate project progress with internal teams and clients.
• Manage scheduling and staffing with in-house and subcontracted labour.
• Oversee project site managers, installers, commissioning leads and programmers.
• Forecast invoicing and work effort across the portfolio.
• Travel to project/customer sites as required.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders; support QA requirements.
• Manage all logistics across the project portfolio.
• Maintain high delivery standards and project discipline.

Role:AV Project Manager

Contract Type:Full-time, Permanent (hours between 8am – 6pm)

Location:Pune, India

Salary: ₹1800000 - ₹2200000 (dependent on experience), plus bonus and company benefits and car allowance

As our business relationships continue to grow across India, we now have a newly created position, working on-site at a globally recognised financial services business, based in Pune, to work as an AV Project Manager, to foster a close relationship with main contractors, consultants and professional teams to ensure Projects are delivered on time and on budget.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing project budgets and schedules, fostering external collaboration with clients and 3rd parties, plus internal coordination with Project & supplementary teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner, to our client’s satisfaction, and in compliance with all contract requirements

• Full responsibility of commercial and contractual obligations of multiple projects simultaneously

• Preparing and managing project schedules and budgets, and providing updates on commercial performance and forecasting

• Communicating project progress and status, both internally and with the clients

• Managing project scheduling and staffing with in-house and sub-contracted labour

• Overseeing project site managers, Installers, Commissioning leads & Programmers

• Forecasting invoicing and work effort throughout portfolio

• Travelling to project/customer sites will be required in this position, as projects demand

• Facilitating floor walks with stakeholders, Coordinating/supporting Vendors

• Facilitating quality assurance requirements as/where necessary

• Fully managing all elements of logistical requirements across a portfolio of projects

• Maintaining a high standard of project delivery principles

Skills and experience:

• Proven technical knowledge of Project Managing specifically in the AV-integration industry is essential

• Ability to interface well with clients and co-workers and to lead subordinate staff effectively

• Confident presenter/chair of meetings in person and on video calls – leading coordination of AV activities throughout the project life-cycle

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, at varying levels of value and complexity

• Well organised, with attention to detail and meticulous planning skills

• Able to create and manage schedules, reports, financial forecasting and budgets

• Prince2/PMP qualification or equivalent desirable
