Job summary

Kinly’s Global Services in Gurgaon, India, is seeking an AV Event Technician to join our on-site Audio Visual team at a prestigious financial services client. The role involves operating and supporting video conferencing, digital signage, and presentation technologies across high-profile events.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems in meeting rooms, coordinate with executives, and ensure seamless delivery of live events.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of AV systems, meeting room technologies, and video conferencing solutions.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, or similar collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of audio systems, displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, and presentation technologies.
• Familiarity with multicamera AV setup having switchers, audio mixers, microphones, talkback, presentation and streaming systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proven experience supporting Live events, AV systems, meeting rooms, video conferencing, or corporate event technologies.
• Experience working in a corporate, managed services, or enterprise IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Video/audio conference setup and support.
• Supporting internal and external events – assisting with the provision of support for internal and external high priority events.
• Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing problems.
• Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order.
• Providing AV equipment setup and Presentation/multi-media meeting room support.
• Assisting with support for multi-media broadcasting.
• Arranging equipment loans and hire to meet client specification.
• Carrying out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly.
• Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
• Assisting with first- and second-line fault repairs.
• Carrying out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments.

AV Event Technician

Gurgaon, India (on-site 5 days per week) | Permanent, Full-Time | Negotiable depending on experience, plus Bonus & Benefits

Hours – 40 hours per week working shifts between 8am to 5pm and 11am to 8pm

We are recruiting an AV Technician to join our established and talented onsite Audio Visual team at one of the world’s most prestigious and recognisable corporate companies.

Based within an iconic building, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious AV professional looking to further develop their technical expertise within a high-profile client environment.

You'll play a key role in providing operational support to customers for all aspects of audio visual, video conference, digital signage and presentation technologies used. The position involves a high degree of exposure, working sometimes with executive management and managing directors of the financial services business.

Key responsibilities include:

Video/Audio Conferencing

• Video/audio conference setup and support
• Supporting internal and external events – assisting with the provision of support for internal and external high priority events
• Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing problems

General AV Meeting Room Support

• Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order

Faults and Room Checks
