Job summary

You will work on displays, projectors, speakers, cameras, and AV racks, coordinating with civil/electrical teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Networking, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in AV installation and support.
• Experience with professional AV systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
• Read and follow AV drawings, shop drawings, and schematics for layouts and cabling.
• Build, wire, and install AV racks with proper mounting and cable management.
• Test and commission AV systems for audio levels, video quality, and conferencing performance.
• Provide on-site technical support during meetings, conferences, and events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve audio, video, conferencing issues.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, client, and site teams for power and mounting requirements.
• Prepare and maintain installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover documentation.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on AV Technician to install, configure, commission, and support professional Audio-Visual and Video Conferencing solutions at client locations across India.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in AV installation and support, including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, video conferencing systems, AV racks, and cabling. The role involves working on-site with clients and coordinating with civil, electrical, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

New joiners will be paired with senior team members during the first month to learn our site delivery and installation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, and video conferencing systems
• Read and follow AV drawings, shop drawings, and schematics for equipment layouts and cabling routes
• Build, wire, and install AV racks with proper equipment mounting and cable management
• Perform cable laying, routing, termination, labeling, and management across walls, ceilings, racks, and cupboards
• Test and commission AV systems for audio levels, video quality, signal flow, and conferencing performance
• Provide on-site technical support during meetings, conferences, events, and presentations
• Troubleshoot and resolve audio, video, connectivity, and conferencing issues
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system checks
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, client, and site teams for power, data, mounting, and structural requirements
• Prepare and maintain installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover documentation

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in AV installation and technical support
• Practical knowledge of professional displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, and conferencing endpoints
• Strong understanding of AV cabling, signal flow, and connector types
• Ability to read and follow shop drawings, AV drawings, and schematics
• Hands-on experience with equipment mounting, drilling, cable laying, and AV rack building
• Good understanding of cable management and AV system installation practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and on-site coordination skills
• Ability to work at client locations and travel across India

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Networking, or a related field is preferred
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in AV installation and support
• Demonstrated experience working with professional AV systems and equipment
• Willingness to travel to client sites across India
