Job summary

Samkwang India Electronic is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrical Components Purchaser to strengthen our Purchasing team. You will source automotive electrical parts and manage suppliers for PCB/PCBA, wiring harnesses, motors, sensors, connectors, ECUs, relays, fuses, and modules.

You will lead RFQs, cost analysis, and negotiations while supporting new product development and localization. Collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Production and Logistics is essential to ensure timely

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing for automotive electrical components.
• Proven ability to source, negotiate, and manage global suppliers.
• Familiar with NPD support, localization, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure automotive electrical components (PCB/PCBA, wiring harness, motors, sensors, connectors, ECUs, relays, fuses).
• Lead supplier sourcing, RFQs, quotation analysis, and cost breakdowns.
• Develop domestic and international supplier bases.
• Support new product development and supplier selection.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production and Logistics to ensure on-time projects.
• Drive cost reductions and supplier performance improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Electrical Components Purchaser to join our Purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing experience in automotive electrical and electronic components and a proven ability to manage suppliers and support new project development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Source and procure automotive electrical components, including PCB/PCBA, Wiring Harness, Electric Motors, Sensors, Connectors, Switches, ECUs, Relays, Fuses, and Electronic Modules.
2. Manage supplier sourcing, RFQs, quotation analysis, cost breakdown, and commercial negotiations.
3. Develop and evaluate domestic and international suppliers.
4. Support new product development (NPD), localization, and supplier selection.
5. Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure on-time project execution.
6. Drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier performance improvements, and supply chain optimization.
7. Monitor supplier performance based on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).

Additional Requirement

1. Hands-on experience with PCB/PCBA, Wiring Harness, Electric Motors, Connectors, Sensors, and Electronic Modules.
2. Strong negotiation, supplier development, and RFQ management skills.
3. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
4. Experience working with Automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.
