Job summary

Amor Management Consultants in India seeks a proactive procurement professional to drive NPD sourcing for automotive electronics (PCB/PCBA, displays, connectors, sensors and ICs).

Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Production and Supply Chain to develop and launch new products, manage RFQs, negotiate prices, ensure timely prototype/production material availability, and support BOM cost reduction and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Handle NPD purchase activities for automotive electronics components (PCB/PCBA, displays, connectors, sensors, ICs).
• Coordinate with R&D, Project, Quality, Production and Supply Chain teams for new product development and launch.
• Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize suppliers.
• Ensure timely availability of prototype, pilot, and production materials.
• Develop new suppliers and support localization / alternate source development.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and new project approval activities.
• Track BOM cost and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Manage engineering change requirements related to procurement.
• Report project and sourcing status to the HOD Electronics Purchase.
