Job summary

Neointelli Technologies is seeking a QA professional with expertise in both manual and automated testing to drive the quality of our software products in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building robust automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and modern frameworks, while evolving manual testing practices within an Agile setup.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design scalable test cases from user stories, and contribute to API testing and performance testing efforts using tools

Qualifications

• Experience in testing web applications built with modern frameworks, with a focus on both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Expertise in automation, using Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks (Cucumber) or tools such a Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework and WebdriverIO to deliver efficient, reliable testing solutions.
• Experience in performing integration and system testing across APIs, UI, microservices, and data pipelines, while validating end-to-end workflows, cross-module impacts, and service dependencies in distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) to develop automation scripts; apply Page Object Model and frameworks like TestNG or PyTest.
• Testing APIs using Postman, Swagger, and RestAssured to validate backend services; design test cases for manual and automated approaches.
• Skilled in interpreting user stories and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test cases; develop reusable automation scripts; experience with JIRA, Zephyr, X-Ray.
• Understanding OWASP Top 10 and API security; proficient in JMeter for performance testing.
• Experience with Git-based workflows; exposure to UNIX commands; collaborating in multi-cultural teams.

• Test Case Design: Skilled in interpreting user stories and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test cases for both manual and automated testing. Develop reusable test scripts for automation to streamline regression/end-to-end testing and enhance quality assurance processes. Experience with tools like JIRA, Zephyr, and X-Ray for test management and tracking.
• Analytical Thinking and Troubleshooting: Skilled in identifying edge cases in manual and automated testing, conducting in-depth root cause analysis, and efficiently troubleshooting automation failures. Strong end-to-end troubleshooting skills, evaluating functionality, performance, usability, integration points, and data flow.
• Security & Performance: Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and API security (auth, tokens); proficient in JMeter for performance, load, and scalability testing.
• Good to Have: Experience with Git-based workflows. Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and microservices-based architectures. Experience with essential UNIX commands. Leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity.
• Collaboration and Communication Skills: Strong ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment and contribute to shared goals.
