Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript).
• Develop robust UI, API, and end-to-end automation scripts following Page Object Model (POM) and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) architecture.
• Drive automation strategy, framework enhancements, and maximize automation coverage across applications.
• Participate in Selenium to Playwright migration by designing reusable and maintainable automation solutions.
• Leverage Agentic AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex, etc.) to accelerate test case generation, automation development, debugging, and documentation.
• Perform code reviews, root cause analysis, framework optimization, and troubleshooting of automation failures.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and clients to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Demonstrate ownership, proactively identify improvements, and contribute to automation best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) automation.
• Expertise in BDD Framework (Cucumber/Gherkin) and Page Object Model (POM).
• Strong automation framework development and design concepts.
• Experience in Selenium to Playwright migration or modernizing automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of Agentic AI concepts and AI-assisted automation using tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.

• Experience with Karate, Bruno, Postman, or API automation tools.

• Hands-on experience with Allure Reports, Trace Viewer, BrowserStack, or similar reporting/testing tools.
• ISTQB Certification (Preferred).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
