Job summary

BIG Language Solutions is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in India to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and application testing. You will analyze requirements, execute various testing types, and collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps to ensure quality across the SDLC.

The role requires hands-on automation with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress and API testing tools, plus strong Agile/SDLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 58 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong focus on automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Knowledge of defect management and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, and application testing.

• Continuously improve test coverage, testing processes, and quality standards.
