Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript. You will build scalable frameworks and execute comprehensive testing across functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage, integrate tests into CI/CD, and analyze results to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Best-in-class hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience developing automation frameworks for web applications.
• Experience with Jest, Mocha, or similar test frameworks.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, and REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
