Job summary

Grid Dynamics in Chennai is seeking an experienced QA engineer to advance test automation using Playwright and TypeScript. You will validate APIs, ensure data integrity with SQL checks, and contribute to mature automation frameworks.

Expect a role focused on modern patterns (Page Object Model, DI) and collaboration within Agile teams using GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools. Strong automation background and cloud-aware mindset preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience bringing an existing automation framework to maturity.
• Strong understanding of test automation framework design patterns (Page Object Model, dependency injection).
• API and REST test automation written in code within the test framework.
• Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Experience with version control systems, Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
