Job summary

Momentum Services, a Mumbai-based global in-house centre, seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end automated testing for business solutions. You will test functionality, reliability, stability and integration with legacy and external systems in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in automation and manual testing, is proficient in Java and JavaScript scripting, and has strong integration testing skills to ensure quality across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the testing gap analysis between requirements and existing environments for digital solutions.

• Document test plans prior to projects and keep them updated.
• Document, maintain and monitor test scenarios, acceptance criteria and results.
• Continuously build test automation artifacts and execute regression tests.

Role Purpose

This person will be responsible for end-to-end automated testing for the business solutions. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, reliability, stability, compatibility and integration with other legacy and/or external systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRAS/KPIS:

• Assist with the testing gap analysis between requirements and existingenvironments accurately for all digital solutions.
• Ensure that user stories are clearly defined and written correctly withacceptance criteria in preparation for the backlog refinement meeting.
• Define quality standards upfront in the PI and sprint meeting and ensurethey are achieved
• Document the test plan prior to the start of any project or plannedoperational work and keep the test plans up to date.
• Document, maintain and monitor test scenarios, acceptance criteria andthe final results.
• Continuously build test automation artifacts.
• Execute and maintain the manual and automation regression tests.
• Demonstrate deliverables to key stakeholders.
• Test big data and ensure the outputs are transposed correctly.
• Report on the team QA way of work, feedback on trends and solutions andcontinuously optimize the way of work to ensure effective and efficient QApractices in the team and with Momentum Investments IT.
• Contribute to the team’s predictability by maintaining a view of the teamswholistic test coverage.
• Minimise team defects by ensuring upfront code quality.
• Drive collective ownership for testing.
• Ensure the agreed quality standard is maintained always.

Mandatory Skills

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in software automationtesting and manual testing (preferable on API frameworkslike Selenium, Postman and UI frameworks).
