Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of automation testing experience in Agile environments.
• Proven ability to design, develop and maintain automation frameworks.
• Strong scripting in Java/JavaScript for test automation.
• Hands-on API testing and backend validation skills.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

• Selenium (Java-based preferred) - Extensive experience in automation scripting
• Playwright - Strong expertise in modern automation framework development
• WebdriverIO - Proven ability to develop and maintain automation scripts
• API Testing Tools (Postman, REST Assured) - Hands‑on experience with API validation
• CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Maven) - Integration and automation pipeline experience
• Issue & Test Management (JIRA) - Effective defect tracking and test management

Preferred Software Skills:

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, and related tools to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, API, and database testing to validate software quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts, identifying root causes for issues, and collaborating with development teams for resolutions.
