Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Software Test Analyst in Pune, India, to join the Billing and Funding – Maverick team. You will develop and maintain test plans and scripts for manual and automated testing, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

You should be able to mentor junior team members and deliver regular status reports. The role requires 4+ years in software testing, experience with Selenium, SQL queries, and programming languages such as Java and Python.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software testing with focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks– Selenium.
• Manual Testing, Automation Tools, SQL queries.
• Programming Languages: Java, Python; Jenkins, AWS, Kafka basic knowledge; good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document and track defects and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them.
• Ensure new scripts are updated/integrated in the test automation pack.
• Investigation and reporting of defects/bugs discovered, following retest after fix.
• Deliver regular progress/status reports; mentor junior team members as needed.
