Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in Pune to design and implement test strategies for projects and applications, and to work with the Automation Test Lead on the automation backlog.

You will create automated tests using Selenium, maintain the test framework, and derive test cases from requirements and user stories. You’ll contribute to process improvements and keep stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.

What you’ll own

• You will be owning the designing and planning test strategies for projects and applications
• You will be undertaking planning activities for agile deliveries
• You will work alongside the Automation Test Lead to progress automation backlog items
• You will create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium
• You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes
• You will analysing requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases, adding to the test suite using Selenium
• You will executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects
• You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements
• You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges
• You will be supporting and maintaining the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes

• Previous experience of working as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

• Experience within an agile development environment
• Experience of test automation using Selenium Web Driver
• Ability to refactor code to reduce complexity

• Knowledge of software testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritisation and risk-based testing

• Making decisions, often with limited information and communicating these to others within the team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
