Job summary

Global Payment Holding Company in Pune is seeking a Software Test Analyst to join the Maverick team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will develop and maintain test plans, execute manual and automated tests using Selenium, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

Mentoring junior testers and delivering regular status reports are also expected. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software testing, experience with Java/Python, SQL, Jenkins, AWS and Kafka basics, and strong

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in software testing (manual and automated).
• Experience with Selenium testing framework.
• Proficient in SQL queries.
• Programming knowledge in Java and Python.
• Familiar with Jenkins, AWS, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts (manual and automated).
• Identify, document and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve them.
• Update/test automation pack with new scripts and integrations.
• Investigate and report defects; re-test after fixes.
• Deliver regular progress/status reports.
• Mentor junior team members and work with minimal supervision.

What you'll own

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Identify, document and track defects and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them
• Ensuring new scripts are updated/integrated in the test automation pack
• Investigation and reporting of defects/bugs discovered, following re-test after fix
• Delivering regular progress/status reports as required
• Should be an individual contributor with minimum supervision. Also, should be able to mentor junior team member

What you'll bring

• 4 + years of experience in software testing with focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks- Selenium
• Manual Testing, Automation Tools, SQL queries,
• Programming Language: Java, Python, Jenkins, AWS, Kafka basic knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
