You will develop and maintain test plans, execute cycles, and collaborate with BAs and SMEs to enhance domain knowledge. Strong automation skills with Selenium/Java, TestNG, and Cucumber are required to drive quality.

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong manual and automation testing expertise. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in BFSI applications, a keen eye for identifying defects, and the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Execute test cycles, monitor progress, and report test results.

Defect Management

Identify, log, track, and ensure timely resolution of defects.

Test Environment Management

Ensure test environments are properly set up, configured, and maintained.

Test Automation

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.

Test Data Management

Ensure availability and accuracy of test data for execution.

Collaboration & Learning

Work closely with Business Analysts (BAs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance domain and functional knowledge.

Technical Responsibilities

Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies.

Develop and enhance automation frameworks.

Create and maintain automated and manual test scripts.

Analyze test data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Manual / Functional Testing with excellent problem‑solving skills.

High attention to detail and ability to test applications meticulously.

Hands‑on experience with:

Selenium

Java

Testing frameworks like TestNG and BDD Cucumber

Strong knowledge of PL/SQL

Mandatory experience in API Testing

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Good to Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins

Knowledge of Python

Certifications (Preferred)

Relevant certifications such as NCFM, ISTQB, or similar in testing/banking domain
