Job summary

Luxoft in Pune is seeking an experienced QA Automation professional to join the team for new settlements and confirmation system development for FX trades. You will design and execute test plans, implement automation, and collaborate with engineering and Dev teams across CI/CD pipelines, cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires hands-on automation, strong SDLC knowledge, and a track record in financial markets testing, including forex settlements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in testing complex systems and business flows.
• Full understanding of SDLC, QA, and Defect Lifecycle.
• Automation experience using Selenium (BDD framework with Java/Python).
• DevOps knowledge with automation testing and CI/CD integration.
• Experience in Banking & Financial Markets, preferably Investment Banking - Forex Trade Settlements.
• Experience with test data identification and creation.
• Experience across different testing phases and building automation frameworks.
• Exposure to test management tools (GitLab, JIRA, Quality Center).
• Proactive engagement with QA Manager on status, resourcing and risk.
• Experience in security & performance testing.
• Basic understanding of Java for macros development.
• Exposure to various CI tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Crew Leads, Test Engineering Chapter Lead, and Agile coaches to ensure quality across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with Dev Leads to resolve challenges and opportunities.
• Hands-on contributor in test automation, writing and contributing to automation frameworks.
• Lead best practices for API, stream, and non-functional testing in cloud and on-prem.
• Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Continuously improve Test Engineering processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends and technologies.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in testing complex systems and business flows
