Job summary

Honeybee Tech Solutions is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 3–6 years’ BFSI domain experience. The role requires strong manual/functional testing, defect tracking, and test automation using Selenium, Java, TestNG and Cucumber. API testing experience is mandatory, with CI/CD familiarity (Jenkins) and PL/SQL knowledge preferred.

Excellent communication and teamwork are essential. The position is a fixed-term, full-time contract for ReBIT in Navi Mumbai, India.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in testing, BFSI domain preferred.
• Strong eye for detail and meticulous testing.
• Experience with Selenium, Java and testing frameworks (TestNG, Cucumber).
• Experience in API testing is must.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Test planning, execution, environment management and defect management.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts and data.
• Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins) is a plus.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL is beneficial.
• Relevant technology and banking domain certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test planning and test execution; develop and maintain test plans, cases and scripts.
• Oversee execution, monitor progress and report results.
• Defect reporting, tracking and resolution; defect management.
• Manage test environments and ensure correct setup.
• Develop and maintain automation framework and scripts.
• Test data availability and accuracy; analyze data for trends.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies.
• Coordinate with BAs and SMEs for domain knowledge.
• Collaborate as part of a team in the BFSI domain.

Job Description : Experience/ Qualifications Must Have : 3-6 years of experience preferred in BFSI domain

• Must Have : Good Manual / Functional testing knowledge with strong problem-solving skills
• Must Have : Should have an eye for details and able to test applications meticulously. Identify, report and track defects found during testing
• Must Have : Should have a good knowledge of Selenium, Java and testing frameworks like TestNG, BDD Cucumber.

• Primary Responsibility Must Have : Test planning and Test Execution - Develop and maintain test plan, test cases and test scripts. Oversee Test Execution, monitor progress and report on test results : Defect Management - Manage defect reporting, tracking and resolution : Test Environment management - Ensure test environments are setup and configured correctly
• Must Have : Test Automation - Develop and maintain automation test framework and test scripts : Test data Management - Ensure test data is available and accurate
• Technical Responsibility : Test Tool Evaluation - Evaluate and recommend testing tool and technologies : Test Framework Development - Develop and maintain testing framework
• Must Have : Test Script Development - Develop and maintain testing scripts : Test data analysis - Analyze test data to identify trends and pattern
• Good to have Skills : Good to have - Experience in CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins
• Good to have : Knowledge of python is added advantage
