Job summary

Classic Search Private Limited is recruiting for a Manager - Automation to lead bio-process, pharma automation projects in Pune. You will oversee electrical hardware design, software development and delivery across bio pharma, biotech, breweries and distilleries sectors.

Ideal candidate has 18-25 years of experience in process automation, PLC/SCADA programming and cross-functional leadership, with strong knowledge of IEC standards and on-site installation oversight.

Qualifications

• BE Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechatronics degree is mandatory.
• 18-25 years of experience in automation for bio-process/pharma/life sciences industries.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA controls and electrical/hardware design.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for Electrical Hardware Design, Software Development and delivery.
• Understanding Projects Requirements, Projects Planning & Scheduling for timely delivery.
• Conceptualizing automation & integration at different layers of Automation Pyramid.
• Visit Customer sites for technical discussion during pre-sales.
• Ensure the Software are developed as per Order Confirmation, P&ID and as per Masters.
• Training the team members and team functioning for quality and guideline compliance while enabling team building and ensure quality customer service is delivered.
• Timely update of the Software and Hardware and match to current technology.
• Ensure the CAPA points are closed timely and implanting actions in all projects.
• Coordinate with the Manufacturing and Quality team to exhibit the FAT to the customer at the scheduled date.
• Ensure Timely dispatch of the projects and coordinate with the Service team for installation as per scope.
• Standardization of Electrical & Software modules.

Will report to the Chief Technology Officer

Location - Pune

Client - European MNC into Machine Manufacturing for Bio Pharma / Pharma and Life science Industries .

Qualification :- BE Electronics /Instrumentation/ Electrical / Mechatronics

Required Experience - 18-25 years

Mandatory Skill Sets :-

• Good understanding of mechanical or electrical process automation and control panels, Process instruments, sensors and switchgears.
• Should able read and Understand the Electrical drawing, Process and Instrumentation diagram and design the controls.
• In depth knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, DCs, IT and Networks, Edge devices, IoT, Cloud computing.
• Business understanding in terms of balancing commercials, technical and customer needs.
• Expertise in PLC Programming like Siemens and Allen Bradley, SCADA Programming like IFix, Siemens and Allen Bradleyfor Process / Machines for Process / Machines.
• Good knowledge of programming languages like C, VB, SQL and MS Access.
• Hands-on experience with Communication Protocols like Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA.

Specific Soft Skills Desired
