AlgoLeap Technologies Pvt Ltd. is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and scale automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber within an Agile environment. You will build automated test suites, validate APIs, and ensure quality through CI/CD integration.

The role collaborates with Product Owners, Developers, Analysts, and DevOps to drive high-quality releases and maintain reusable components, enabling efficient testing at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright JavaScript/TypeScript, Selenium WebDriver with Java, and Cucumber BDD Framework.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, end-to-end, smoke and sanity testing, cross-browser testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and support release validation activities.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation components, utilities, and libraries to improve test efficiency and scalability.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent technologies.
• Validate backend data through SQL queries and database testing.
• Analyze application requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Identify defects, perform root‑cause analysis, track issues, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Review automation code and enforce testing best practices, naming standards, and framework guidelines.
• Monitor automation execution results, maintain test metrics, and generate quality reports for stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA organization.
• Support performance, security, and accessibility testing initiatives when required.

This role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
