Job summary

Tenneco in India is seeking an experienced robotics and industrial automation professional to lead robot programming, interfacing, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting for reliable manufacturing operations.

You will program and commission Fanuc and KUKA robots, integrate them with CNC machines and production hardware, and develop PLC and automation controls. Strong background in robotics hardware/software is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering with 5–8 years of experience.
• Experience interfacing robots with machines.
• Experience in programming, installation, commissioning and debugging robots (Fanuc/KUKA).
• Experience in manufacturing processes and PLC programming.
• Working knowledge of CNC machine programming and robotics hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Program, install, commission and troubleshoot Fanuc and KUKA robots.
• Interface robots with CNC machines and other equipment.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs and automation controls.
• Support CNC programming and integration with robotic systems.
• Perform robot debugging, fault diagnosis and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to improve productivity and automation performance.

About The Role.

Responsible for robotics and industrial automation, including robot programming, machine interfacing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting to support efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, install, commission, and troubleshoot Fanuc and KUKA robots.
• Interface robots with CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs and automation controls.
• Support CNC machine programming and integration with robotic systems.
• Perform robot debugging, fault diagnosis, and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Work with robotics hardware and software components for system optimization.
• Support automation projects from installation through commissioning and production stabilization.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to improve machine productivity, reliability, and automation performance.

Job Requirements
