Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) seeks an experienced Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment. The role requires a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, or Special Purpose Machines, with hands-on experience in robot programming, PLCs, and automation.

The ideal candidate will support robot programming for ABB, FANUC, KUKA, EPSON, SODICK, and PANASONIC robots, and assist in PLC programming using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, or Special Purpose Machines.
• 3-6 years of experience in automation, preferably in the EMS industry.
• Experience in robot programming, PLC knowledge, and automation.
• Knowledge of QMS documentation and PM activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment including robots, PLCs, and SPMs.
• Assist in developing and implementing robot programs for ABB, FANUC, KUKA, EPSON, SODICK, and PANASONIC robots.
• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing PLC programs using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
• Assist in automating manufacturing processes using robotics, PLCs, and special purpose machines.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Assist in planning and executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities to ensure equipment sustainability.
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
• Assist in implementing measures to ensure equipment sustainability and extend its lifespan.
• Assist in conducting root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Assist in Lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize production processes.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment, including robots, PLCs, and special purpose machines.
• Robot Programming: Assist in developing and implementing robot programs for ABB, FANUC, KUKA, EPSON, SODICK, and PANASONIC robots.
• PLC Knowledge: Assist in designing, developing, and implementing PLC programs using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
• Automation: Assist in automating manufacturing processes using robotics, PLCs, and special purpose machines.
