Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in AutoCAD Electrical design and drafting for electrical or telecommunications projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and develop detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for electrical and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Design and prepare electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, cable routing layouts, and as-built drawings.
• Develop and modify engineering drawings based on design revisions, site requirements, and project updates.
• Prepare technical drawings for electrical panels, DC power systems, battery banks, cable connections, and associated equipment.
• Review engineering specifications, technical documents, and project requirements to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve technical queries and incorporate design changes.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revision histories, and technical documentation.
• Support the preparation of engineering documents and drawings for client submissions and project approvals.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering standards, company procedures, and client specifications.
• Assist in preparing and updating drawings throughout the project lifecycle, including installation, testing, commissioning, and handover stages.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Electrical Design Engineer to develop, prepare, modify, and maintain accurate technical drawings for electrical and telecommunications infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to translate engineering requirements into detailed technical drawings in accordance with project specifications and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for electrical and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Design and prepare electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, cable routing layouts, and as-built drawings.
• Develop and modify engineering drawings based on design revisions, site requirements, and project updates.
• Prepare technical drawings for electrical panels, DC power systems, battery banks, cable connections, and associated equipment, as applicable to project requirements.
• Review engineering specifications, technical documents, and project requirements to ensure drawing accuracy.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in AutoCAD Electrical design and drafting for electrical or telecommunications projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is mandatory; experience with AutoCAD Electrical is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, layouts, and engineering specifications.
• Basic to strong understanding of electrical systems, DC power systems, cable routing, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Knowledge of drawing standards, revision control, and technical documentation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
