Job Location: Initial 3 to 4 months in Hyderabad (Telangana), followed by relocation to Solapur (Maharashtra)
We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer to lead projects and plant engineering initiatives at Synnat Pharma, a fast-growing leader in API manufacturing. If you possess 3-5 years of experience creating precise 2D and 3D Technical Drawings, including detailed Plant Layouts, P&ID Diagrams, and Process Flow Diagrams, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, we invite you to join our dynamic team.
Experience Required:
3- 5 years of experience in AutoCAD design, preferably in the pharmaceutical or API manufacturing industry.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and Drafting
- 1. Create, modify, and manage precise 2D and 3D technical drawings, including detailed plant layouts, equipment layouts, and piping diagrams, using AutoCAD software.
- 2. Develop and maintain P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- 3. Generate detailed architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings for new projects and plant modifications.
- 4. Ensure all designs adhere to international engineering standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO) and internal company CAD standards.
- 5. Translate engineering sketches, specifications, and ideas into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings.
Collaboration and Coordination
- 1. Provide technical support and guidance related to AutoCAD drawings and design principles to other team members.
- 2. Communicate design changes and updates effectively to all relevant teams, ensuring alignment and minimizing rework.
- 3. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure design compatibility and adherence to project specifications.
- 4. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize designs for constructability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
- 5. Collaborate closely with the Projects & Plant Engineering team, process engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and project scopes.
Documentation and Management
- 1. Generate reports and material lists from design drawings as required for procurement and project planning.
- 2. Ensure proper version control and data integrity for all AutoCAD files and related documentation.
- 3. Manage and update existing drawings to reflect any modifications, upgrades, or expansions within the pharmaceutical plant.
- 4. Prepare 'As-Built' drawings by incorporating field changes and red-line markups to reflect the actual installed conditions of plant equipment and systems.
- 5. Maintain an extensive and organized drawing documentation system, including revision control, drawing registers, and archiving of all design files.
Quality and Compliance
- 1. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in drawing creation and management workflows.
- 2. Contribute to the development and refinement of internal CAD standards and design guidelines.
- 3. Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features, drafting techniques, and relevant industry standards to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.
- 4. Conduct thorough self-reviews and peer reviews of drawings to identify and correct errors, omissions, or inconsistencies.
- 5. Ensure all design work complies with Synnat Pharma's quality management systems, safety regulations, and pharmaceutical industry best practices.
