Job summary

Moola Global is seeking an AutoCAD Engineer / Electrical Engineer for our client in Bengaluru. The role focuses on preparing, modifying, and detailing electrical drawings using AutoCAD, with emphasis on accurate 2D layouts and proper documentation.

Candidate should have BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and 1–4 years of relevant experience, with the ability to coordinate with project teams and ensure drawings meet project standards.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–4 years of experience in AutoCAD engineering drawings.
• Experience with electrical layouts, lighting and power routing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and update electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create accurate 2D layouts, plans, elevations, and sections.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and update electrical and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop accurate 2D layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed engineering drawings based on project requirements.
• Interpret engineering concepts, sketches, specifications, and project requirements and convert them into accurate AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare and modify electrical layouts, including lighting, power points, cable routing, equipment locations, and related electrical requirements.
• Ensure drawings are prepared with proper dimensions, scales, annotations, symbols, layers, and technical details.
• Make revisions to existing drawings based on design changes, site requirements, and client/engineering instructions.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other departments to ensure drawings are technically accurate and aligned with project requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy and identify discrepancies, design changes, or drawing errors before submission.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings and ensure updated drawings are available to the concerned teams.
• Assist senior engineers in preparing technical drawings and other project documentation.
• Support the project/site team during execution by providing necessary drawing modifications and technical clarifications.
• Ensure all drawings follow the required engineering standards, specifications, and project guidelines.
• Maintain organized records of AutoCAD files, revisions, and related engineering documents.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, particularly 2D drafting and engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of electrical layouts and basic electrical engineering concepts.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of dimensions, scales, symbols, layouts, and technical drafting.
• Ability to independently prepare and modify drawings based on requirements.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and engineering practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers and project/site teams.
