Independent Recruitment Consultant (freelancer) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, seeks a Project | Civil | AutoCAD Engineer to draft 2D civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD and coordinate with engineers and site teams for updates.

Qualifications include Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or ITI with AutoCAD skills; familiarity with Civil 3D, MicroStation or Revit is a plus. Strong attention to detail and communication are required.

Qualifications

• ITI (Civil Draftsman) with AutoCAD skills also eligible.
• Strong AutoCAD knowledge and civil drawings understanding.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Revise drawings based on engineer/client comments.
• Prepare GA drawings, layout drawings, sections, elevations, and detailing.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure document control.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for drawing updates.
• Assist in quantity estimation and preparation of BOQs where required.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor work quality, safety, and progress as per project schedules.
• Verify measurements and maintain daily site reports.
• Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Costing, Budgeting
• Assist in billing, quantity verification, and material management.
