Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 6+ years of experience in the industry with strong experience in electrical building systems design and implementation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. CADAC experience is a plus (Willingness to undergo training in CADAC, if needed). Knowledge of StabiCAD is an advantage. Experience in handling multiple (part) projects simultaneously. Used to sometimes work under time pressure, in connection with timely realisation of drawing work. Experience with providing technical proposals that fit within the overall concept of the assignment. Common problems involve situations where the solution requires broad experience and technical insight.

What Will You Do?

As an Electrical Engineer you are responsible for preparing drawings for a commissioned project and, if necessary, analyse the drawings with regard to bottlenecks in the execution of the project. Compile a drawing package of required installation parts and take care of the revision of drawings and the maintenance of the revision file. If the position structurally involves in the preparatory phase the complete elaboration of the concept of a technical installation. This then results in a file with design, technical specifications and drawings of the installation to be built, classification in one scale higher applies.

• Tasks:
• Independent elaboration of design, working drawings, principle schemes, dimensions, cross-sections and detail drawings.
• Elaboration of technical spaces on the basis of a sketch.
• Check drawings and processing necessary additions.
• Analyse various drawings and identifying bottlenecks in the progress of the project in a timely manner.
• Revision of drawings.
• In the contractual phase, consult with the Project Manager on operational matters and the progress of drawing activities.
• Communicate with Engineer, Calculators, colleagues and suppliers. Receive information (possibly based on own consultation with suppliers) on materials to be applied and incorporates consequences in drawings.
• Perform functional testing at the direction of Project Manager or Engineer. Making drawing designs for schematics and.
• Support and informs project management in the execution phase.
• Report revisions to existing designs to the Project Leader or Engineer.
• Responsible for documenting and archiving data for the benefit of a project.
• Responsible for accounting for the time used.
