Job summary

Elevate LLC, a partner firm for Future Opportunities in India, seeks an Audit Senior Associate to lead engagements, supervise staff, and coordinate day-to-day activities for U.S.-based audits. The role requires mentoring junior team members and strong technical skills.

Work hours are 3:00 PM IST – 12:00 AM IST, with a hybrid model. Candidates with 3–5 years in public accounting and knowledge of U.S. GAAP/GAAS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
• Nonprofit audit experience is a plus.
• CA/CPA preferred but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodologies.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based audit teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Perform and review audit procedures, including controls testing, substantive testing, and analytical procedures.
• Coordinate daily engagement activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Review workpapers prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor and supervise audit associates.
• Communicate effectively with U.S.-based managers and team members.

Audit Senior Associate - Future Opportunities

Overview

The Audit Senior Associate plays a lead role in executing audit engagements, supervising staff, and coordinating day-to-day engagement activities. This role requires strong technical skills, project management capability, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS
• Perform and review audit procedures, including controls testing, substantive testing, and analytical procedures
