Job summary

Role Description

The Audit and Assurance Assistant will support statutory, tax, and internal audits for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in planning audit engagements, performing test checks and vouching, analyzing financial statements and ledgers, and documenting working papers in line with firm methodologies. The role involves coordinating with clients for information requests, resolving audit queries, and helping prepare draft reports and management comments. The assistant will also contribute to assurance-related assignments such as certifications, limited reviews, and compliance checks, under the guidance of senior team members. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular presence at the firm’s office and client locations.
