Job summary

Taxpert Professionals Private Limited invites an Assistant Manager - Audit to lead statutory and internal audits for diverse clients from Mumbai. The role requires CA qualification and 2–4 years of practical audit experience with exposure to ERP systems such as Tally ERP 9, SAP, and Winman.

The candidate should demonstrate strong MS Office capabilities, in particular Excel and Word, and be based in Mumbai with preference for candidates from Central Line or Andheri.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of experience in Statutory and/or Internal Audit.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems including Tally ERP 9, SAP and Winman.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and related assignments for various entities.
• Review books, ledgers, reconciliations and audit schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess taxation compliance, GST, TDS, and corporate law requirements.
• Identify risks and control gaps, prepare observations and recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients and teams, mentor juniors to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualification & Experience

Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of experience in Statutory Audit and/or Internal Audit, preferably with a Mumbai-based consulting firm.

The candidate should have hands‑on experience in Tally ERP 9, SAP, Winman, and other ERP systems. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, is essential.

Job Description

• Manage and execute Statutory Audit, Internal audit, and Restated financial statements assignments (IPO) or private limited companies, public limited companies, listed entities, and other corporate clients, including IPO-related assignments.
• Review books of accounts, ledgers, reconciliations, audit schedules, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Review the Compliances with taxation laws, statutory payments, TDS, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act provisions, and other regulatory requirements.
• Review internal controls, SOPs, business processes, and financial reporting systems to identify risks, control gaps, and areas for process improvement; prepare audit observations and recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients, audit teams, management, legal advisors, merchant bankers, and other stakeholders for timely completion of assignments; guide and mentor team members to ensure quality deliverables.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Ind AS, Standards on Auditing, Corporate Laws, Income Tax Laws, GST, audit documentation, and financial reporting.
