Qualifications

• Foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic auditing concepts.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (such as Tally).
• Strong documentation, report drafting, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and attention to detail under deadlines.
• ICAI Article enrollment preferred.

Role Description

The Article Assistant will support chartered accountants and senior team members in delivering audit, accounting, taxation, and advisory services. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers and documentation, performing ledger scrutiny and reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and tax returns. The role also involves researching relevant accounting standards and tax provisions, preparing reports and schedules, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with clients to collect information and clarify queries. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, offering hands-on experience and structured learning within a professional practice environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic auditing concepts.
• Candidates should possess working knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, Income Tax, and related compliance procedures.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (such as Tally or similar), and basic data analysis tools.
• Candidates should possess skills in documentation, report drafting, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Candidates should possess abilities in time management, attention to detail, and maintaining accuracy under deadlines.
• Enrollment as an Article under the ICAI curriculum (CA Intermediate cleared or as per applicable regulations) is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, maintain professional ethics, and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt to new regulations and standards, and build a career in chartered accountancy practice.
