Astreya is seeking an AV Technician II to join our onsite team for a global client. You will install and support AV/VC systems in corporate environments and provide high-profile event support.

This role requires travel to client offices, strong diagnostic skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Safety guidelines and SLAs guide daily work.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years’ related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read architecture, electrical, structural & AV drawings.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to client offices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install AV equipment and displays, including conference systems.
  • Perform cabling, testing cat5e/6, HDMI, and related cables.
  • Meet SLAs and provide ticket updates.
  • Upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with remote teams.
  • Assist with inventory and handle RMA/DOA.
  • Follow safety guidelines and troubleshoot installations.
  • Provide pre-event checks and on-site support.
  • Liaise with end users and vendors to address requests.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.

What this Job Entails:


The AV Technician II will join our expanding team onsite with one of our global clients. The hire will be given the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative technologies in the world. The AV Technician II will provide support for corporate AV/VC environments, and will confidently and quickly analyze problems using technical diagnostic skill sets, in order to effectively support and resolve issues. Technical responsibilities include high profile event support, audio, video, conferencing technology, projects, maintenance, support. Traveling to various client offices on occasion is required

Your Roles and Responsibiliti
  • es:Participate in installation of all AV equipment and displays to include: audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems and all presentation syste
  • ms.Perform installation of structured cabling to include pulling, terminating and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cabl
  • es.Ensure that SLAs and daily deliverables are met including ticket upda
