Job summary

Dentsu Global Services (DGS) in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead enterprise-scale CDP and MarTech architecture strategy. You will guide multi‑platform integrations, define future-state architectures, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

You will drive data governance, real-time/batch pipelines, and AI-enabled personalization while influencing digital transformation roadmaps and ensuring data privacy compliance.

Qualifications

Experience architecting and leading CDP implementations (AEP, Treasure Data, Zeta, Tealium, etc.).
Strong understanding of composable CDP architecture and data privacy principles.
Advanced data engineering skills including real-time and batch ingestion pipelines.
Expertise in API integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and event-driven architectures.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Node.js for scripting and automation.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies.
Strong understanding of identity resolution, audience segmentation, and activation workflows.
Deep experience incorporating AI/ML into MarTech/CDP ecosystems with agentic AI features.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise architecture consulting engagements and define technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Lead design and implementation of CDP solutions across multiple platforms.
Drive adoption of AI-driven personalization and composable architectures, representing the organization in industry forums.
Define and enforce data architecture standards, schemas, and governance models.
Oversee ingestion pipelines (batch/streaming) and ensure data quality and integrity.
Mentor engineers, review code, and promote best practices across teams.
Collaborate with marketing and analytics to define audience strategies and activation logic.
Own orchestration of customer journeys and personalization workflows.

Job Descreption

We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect with a strong consultative mindset to lead enterprise-scale architecture strategy and delivery for Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and integrated MarTech ecosystems. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic advisory skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while driving digital transformation roadmaps.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, define future-state architectures, and lead multi-platform integrations across CDP, CRM, AdTech, Analytics, and AI solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with business acumen, enabling consultative engagements and thought leadership

Must have skills

Proven experience architecting and leading CDP implementations (AEP, Treasure Data, Zeta, Tealium, etc.)AEP (RT-CDP, AJO, CJA, Workfront), Action IQ, Braze (CDP), Telium, Zeta, Treasure Data, Growth Loop, Hi‑Touch, SFDC etc.. Strong focus on AEP and AJO is a must
Strong understanding of composable CDP architecture and data privacy principles
Advanced data engineering skills including real-time and batch ingestion pipelines
Expertise in API integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and event-driven architectures
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Node.js for scripting and automation

Good to have skills

CDP Expertise: Treasure Data, Tealium, Hightouch (in addition to AEP/AJO)
Enterprise Architecture & Consulting: TOGAF or equivalent frameworks, Solution consulting and pre‑sales experience
Experience with Customer Journey Orchestration tools (AJO, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Familiarity with reverse ETL tools like Hightouch or Census
Hands‑on experience with data governance, consent management, and PII handling
Knowledge of data formats and transformation (JSON, Parquet, Avro)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Client‑facing experience with stakeholder management and solution presentations
Exposure to CDP evaluation and vendor selection processes

Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices
Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance CDP capabilities
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Act as a bridge between business and technology teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions
Troubleshoot complex issues across data flows, APIs, and activation channels
Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvement of CDP infrastructure
